| Eedo Knowledgeware announced that the Department for Work & Pensions (DWP) is standardising on ForceTen, Eedo’s learning content management system (LCMS). The decision follows the largest e-learning pilot programme within the UK government, at Jobcentre Plus. The initiative is part of the HR Modernisation Programme, designed to equip employees with the knowledge they need to realise their full potential and meet the government’s business goals.
Eedo ForceTen, which is entirely browser-based, provides the platform and tools that learning and development professionals need to efficiently and easily deliver effective e-learning and blended learning solutions. It enables rapid authoring and content ingestion, while fully supporting advanced strategies such as adaptive learning, assessments, scenarios and simulations.
DWP’s 150 learning and development professionals will use Eedo ForceTen across all the business, including Jobcentre Plus, The Pensions Service, The Child Support Agency, Disability Carers Service, and Corporate and Shared Services.
“DWP has a huge mandate to help a wide spectrum of citizens: children, pensioners, the working aged and the disabled. Consequently, their employees have to be high-performing, customer-focused and have vast amounts of knowledge at their disposal,” said John Hudson, Eedo’s President and CEO. “Eedo ForceTen will help them optimise the development and dissemination of high-quality content, improve employee performance, and achieve even greater business efficiency.”
