Edvantage group announces the release of CourseBuilder 5.2, its interactive learning content development tool featuring new CourseBuilder Media Components. The new Flash components are integrated into the CourseBuilder architecture, enabling non-programmers to create high-level interactivity within e-learning programmes – in minutes. CourseBuilder Media Components can also be customised, edited and re-used, offering a high degree of flexibilitywhile keeping development time to a minimum.
“CourseBuilder Media Components raise the bar for creating high-quality learning content,” says Sven Ove Sjølyst, VP CourseBuilder. “The technology will help people to quickly and effectively develop online courses, tests and assessments that capture the user’s attention and involve learners in the learning process.” “People’s expectations for interactivity on the Internet, and in video and gaming are continuing to grow. Our goal with CourseBuilder is to ensure that all course developers can stay ahead of expectations, by being able to easily create engaging learning experiences. The more engaging the experience, the more impact it will have on learners, and the more likely they are to complete the courses.”
CourseBuilder has been selected by large and small organisations including Halifax Bank of Scotland, Aurum and The Insolvency Service. In 2007, Edvantage group also provided custom content development services to over 150 organisations using CourseBuilder. “Our close contact with the market gives us the essential knowledge and insight that is necessary for developing leading technologies. We believe CourseBuilder will rapidly become the benchmark in the industry,” concludes Sven. CourseBuilder 5.2 is available now, and existing Edvantage group customers will receive automatic upgrades.
