| Saba announced the appointment of its Founder, Bobby Yazdani, to the positions of President and Chief Operating Officer. Geno Tolari, Saba's Chief Executive Officer, will assume the role of Chairman of the Board.
Yazdani, an industry visionary, founded Saba in 1997 and served as its Chief Executive Officer until Tolari's appointment in March 2002. During the past year, Yazdani was primarily focused on shaping Saba's vision, strategy and next generation products.
Skilled in all aspects of Saba's business, Yazdani will lead Saba's day-to-day operations. "With Bobby assuming an operational leadership role, Saba is well positioned for its next phase of growth," said Tolari. "Bobby brings unsurpassed industry insight and an in-depth understanding of Saba's operations," he said.
"As our industry evolves, Saba' s continued success is tied to our ability to consistently deliver solutions that help our customers solve their unique business problems," said Yazdani. "I am looking forward to working with our customers, partners and employees as we develop and deliver the next generation of solutions to support our current and future markets," Yazdani added.
Separately, Saba reaffirmed guidance for its recently completed third fiscal quarter that ended February 28, 2003.
