General Physics Corporation (GP) was chosen by GoLearn, to integrate, launch and host the United States Department of Transportation’s (DOT) Plateau™ Learning Management System (LMS) and e-learning platform, which is designed to allow DOT, using the Internet, to deliver web-based training, provide classroom management capabilities and manage learner performance.
GP, working with Plateau, will outline the technical process necessary to map DOT’s requirements to the functionality of the LMS. GP will then perform system integration, content integration, web interface design development, and data migration in order to launch the LMS. GP’s hosting services include 24x7x365 monitoring of all applications in a secured facility.
GP will launch the LMS in two phases. The first will address non-Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) DOT agencies and the second phase will address the FAA agency.
