| 6 June 2001, Cirencester, UK. eLearnity, the UK’s leading independent e-Learning consultancy today announced the launch of a new corporate programme to learn about e-learning called “Building the e-Learning Organisation”.
e-Learning represents a significant opportunity and challenge for corporate learning and development staff. The introduction of blended learning, mixing the best of traditional training with the best of e-learning, and the rapid growth in web-based delivery, means e-learning is introducing new opportunities, new issues, new technology, and new jargon.
“This unique corporate programme is designed to meet this challenge, developing first-hand experience of e-learning using e-learning, and helping organisations to start to develop a clearer strategy and plan for e-learning.” said Sue Honore, eLearnity’s Learning Development Manager.
Targeted at corporate training and learning professionals, the programme will:
· Develop a common understanding of the e-Learning market place, terminology, and technology
· Facilitate the development of your own corporate e-learning strategy, plans and designs
· Give first-hand experience of e-learning using a variety of delivery methods
· Be facilitated by eLearnity’s market leading subject experts and consultants
The programme is designed to run as an in-company private programme, using a mixture of subject-based sessions, discussions and individual and group work assignments. The programme is delivered using a specially designed e-learning community environment together with live e-learning delivery sessions.
