Atlantic Link Limited is delighted to announce Nottingham Building Society as their latest customer.

When Nottingham Building Society started looking for authoring tools to develop their in-house elearning courses, they never realised that the solution was right under their noses. After looking at several products that did not meet their requirements, the society's elearning team bumped into Atlantic Link at an exhibition in Birmingham. They were immediately impressed with the speed, ease of use and unique collaborative architecture of Content Point, and asked for a full on-site demonstration.

At the demonstration, the team then really started to understand the difference between Atlantic Link's products and all the others that they had looked at. Content Point could give them true collaborative development with full functionality at remote sites, as well as content management from any PC in the society - features that none of the other tools could offer.

As a final 'proof of concept', Atlantic Link were asked to capture an IT sequence using their Capture Point technology, and produce an on-line course from the captured screens. When the fully functional course was delivered back within 2 days, Nottingham Building Society were convinced that they had found the ideal toolset.

The system was installed in September 2005 and 4 weeks later the society had already achieved their initial objective, a training course for their mortgage point of sale (MPOS) system. The course will be used to train staff on this application and reduce help desk calls from new users.

They now plan to develop additional courses, moving from IT training into more advanced courses such as induction and customer service.
