Elearnity, Europe’s leading Corporate Learning Analyst, today announced the appointment of Adrian Jones as Principal Analyst for E-learning, with responsibility for leading Elearnity’s research and advisory services on E-learning, blended learning, learning design and content.
Adrian has been one of the leading corporate advocates for e-learning in the UK during his last six years at B&Q, and has won many related awards for his e-learning work at B&Q. A frequent speaker at major e-learning conferences, Adrian has also contributed his thought leadership and practical experiences of the realities of corporate e-learning to many industry forums and magazines. Under Adrian’s leadership, B&Q became one of the earliest adopters of enterprise e-learning, e-assessment and learning management systems and a leading corporate reference for e-learning.
“I have found the independent insight and deep expertise that Elearnity provided to be invaluable to me in the past, and look forward to further expanding Elearnity’s thinking and presence” said Jones. “Corporate e-learning has changed significantly over the last 5 years; however, the need to have an independent expert view is more critical than ever.”
“Elearnity is very pleased to announce Adrian’s appointment in this key role.” said David Wilson, Elearnity’s founder and managing director. “Adrian has been a leading figure on the corporate e-learning circuit over the past five or six years, and is highly respected for his experience and insight amongst his peers.”
Prior to joining Elearnity, Mr. Jones spent over 6 years managing e-learning and learning technology for B&Q. Prior to this, he held a number of learning & development roles in major UK retail and corporate organisations.
Adrian can be contacted by email at adrianj@elearnity.com.
In addition to announcing Mr. Jones appointment, Elearnity also announced that it will be resuming its series of free corporate roundtables during the second half of 2007 focusing on key themes including rapid e-learning and custom e-learning content production, and the realities of Talent Management. Attendance is for corporate learning and e-learning leaders, and by personal invite only. Corporate organisations interested in attending these should contact Elaine Wilson at elainew@elearnity.com.
