With the recent announcement that Adobe plans to discontinue development of their Authorware eLearning software, Atlantic Link is offering a conversion service for legacy Authorware courses.

Commenting on the new service, Atlantic Link's Managing Director Mike Alcock stated "There are tens of thousands of courses that have been created using Authorware®. Our service uses automatic conversion routines to extract the media assets from an Authorware® course and convert it into our Content Point format.

This allows organisations to have the courses in a modern Flash format that can be edited and modified by non-programmers at the touch of a button."

Content Point is designed to be easy to use so that modifying old Authorware® courses and creating new content based on legacy content can be done by almost anyone. This puts course updating and creation capabilities into the hands of subject matter experts, rather than being the preserve of Authorware® developers and programmers.

Contact Atlantic Link for a quotation for conversion.
