BTL Group launched SecureAssess, their next generation e-Assessment delivery platform. Part of the Surpass suite of development and delivery products, SecureAssess aims to be a step change in technology and expectations around the delivery of onscreen assessments.

Built using the very latest development technologies from Microsoft and Adobe, and designed using a modular and service orientated architecture to meet the demands of Web 2.0, SecureAssess breaks with the traditional model of either LAN or Web
delivery, allowing for the first time the delivery and management of onscreen assessments via a method that utilises the benefit of both models.

Keith Myers, BTL Managing Director said "Traditionally there has been a reliance on
LAN based delivery for High Stakes assessments run onscreen. Whilst this is a very
stable solution, deploying this to large numbers of test or training centres can be
onerous. With SecureAssess our customers can now choose models of delivery, but
still manage both channels from one central Adminstrative application"

With it's long history of developing e-Assessment solutions for organisations tackling
the challenge of onscreen deployment, BTL are well placed to utilise their experience
in this area to produce what will be a first in the field, an easy to deploy but fully
secure onscreen assessment solution.
