Eedo Knowledgeware announced that Sony Ericsson is using ForceTen™, Eedo’s learning content management system (LCMS), to develop and disseminate learning content to thousands of employees, customers, call centers and repair centers worldwide.
The initiative is part of a corporate objective to improve the quality and timeliness of training material while making it easier for subject-matter experts to develop and repurpose content for various groups. ForceTen also enables users to manage content in 40 different languages. The flexibility of ForceTen is particularly useful in new product training to help get the sales and customer support organizations up to speed faster and more efficiently.
“Eedo’s learning content management system has helped us to deliver consistent and appropriate content to thousands of users who have different needs, levels of understanding and who work in various languages,” said Mats Frisk, Director of ISC at Sony Ericsson. “It’s well understood that an informed and current organization leads to better customer satisfaction and improved bottom-line results.” Sony Ericsson will access ForceTen through Plateau’s learning management system.
“It’s a monumental task for global enterprises like Sony Ericsson to keep relevant parties well-trained on the latest product and corporate initiatives. But it’s also necessary in order to keep employees engaged and customers happy,” said John Hudson, Eedo’s President and CEO. “For years, we’ve helped information and technology companies like Sony Ericsson improve how they develop and manage knowledge and learning content. We know the challenges and the best practices, and partner with our customers to achieve success.”
