Giunti to acquire HarvestRoad assets

Giunti Labs announced that is had agreed to discuss the purchase of HarvestRoad’s Hive© Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) and brand name, as well as Harvest Road’s own brand name. The agreement provides exclusive rights to Giunti Labs and is subject to the result of Giunti Labs’ due diligence, and HarvestRoad’s shareholder approval for the transaction. The transaction is expected to be completed within March 2008.

Discussions will focus on Giunti Labs offering employment opportunities to a number of employees currently employed by HarvestRoad and acquiring all its existing commercial contracts and contacts.

Mr José Grade, President of Giunti Labs stated:

“The Board of Giunti Labs is excited at the opportunity to acquire the HarvestRoad brand and quality intellectual property rights, and to offer employment opportunities to a number of the key staff within HarvestRoad. They will assist Giunti Labs in both technical support in respect of the HarvestRoad Hive product and also in the global reach and marketing of the product. Giunti Labs has both the financial solidity and the global presence and opportunities to fully commercialise and support HarvestRoad Hive.”
