Kineo announced that Sharon Spencer has been appointed as its new Creative Director. Sharon’s appointment is a key step in Kineo’s continued strong growth and focus on visual creativity in e-learning.

Sharon is joining from her role as Head of Art Direction at Epic and takes up her new role at Kineo on 19th May 2008. Previously a Senior Design Manager for the Kingfisher group, and with a BA in Fine Art, Sharon is well known as one of the most creative designers in the e-learning industry.

Kineo’s Managing Partner Steve Rayson commented: “I am very excited that Sharon is joining us. Design is at the core of what we do at Kineo. Too often strong instructional and strong visual design are seen as separate disciplines. We consider them to be integrated. One cannot succeed without the other. That’s how Sharon approaches her work – and that’s why we wanted her on board. I am very confident that Sharon will play a key role in furthering our design successes, delivering creative and effective e-learning to our clients.”

“We’ve also seen an expansion into the areas of marketing and communication at Kineo. Learning and communications are blurring. Creative thinking to achieve both is essential and Sharon’s previous experience with brands such as Vodafone and Virgin will bring an extra dimension to our work.”

Sharon Spencer commented: “I am really pleased to be joining such a successful and fast growing company; and one with a strong commitment to innovation and creative design. I am looking forward to working in collaboration with Kineo’s clients to produce the very best in design and communications.”
