Rapid e-learning is one of the most significant developments in e-learning over the past few years. The adoption of this approach has grown phenomenally. Where projects once took months to deliver, they now take a matter of weeks, days or even hours. The costs are almost half that of traditional e-training, but at what price does that come to the learner?
For all the hype, what is the reality of rapid e-learning in large corporates? Even for those already using Rapid e-learning, there are some critical questions that they would like to learn more about. With so many questions and so many potential unknowns, Elearnity has created a suite of white papers that consider the high-level implications of Rapid e-learning. These help you to start assessing Rapid e-learning for your organisation. They will help you to develop your thinking about Rapid e-learning. They may not provide you with all the answers, but they will start to inform and broaden your perspective.
Although “Insight” papers provide an excellent initial perspective, there is a deeper layer of understanding of Rapid e-learning that is still missing. In an attempt to gather this insight, Elearnity have created a collaborative research project, which will develop a more detailed analysis of the experiences of Rapid e-learning in large corporate and seek to answer some of these deeper questions. The project includes:
- Independent profiling of participant organisations' opportunities, experiences and challenges.
- Expert research and analysis of corporate best practice.
- Critical analysis of vendor solutions and strategies.
- Accelerated concepts and framework tools.
We are targeting 6 - 10 organisations to form a core participant group from screened and selected large corporates. The Project has an elapsed duration of 4 to 5 months, including 3 participant workshops to be hosted at participant organisations. The project will aim to commence June / July 2008. See the document below for more information.

For corporates interested in participating, please contact David Perring at davidp@elearnity.com to discuss further.
