CrossKnowledge announced the launch of its new CrossKnowledge HR Network. This innovative initiative based on the model of a social networking community is intended to create an interactive platform to enhance dialogue and to promote the sharing of experiences between HR professionals and experts across Europe.
Encouraging peer discussion on the major challenges facing HR professionals
As a forward-looking company keen to harness the power and influence of new modes of communication, CrossKnowledge has created a HR Network community to encourage the sharing of experiences between European HR executives and experts. The initiative represents an extremely useful tool which will facilitate conversations between HR peers on issues such as talent management, improving leadership development, dealing with globalisation and much more.
The HR Network was created with the aim of highlighting the different functions relating to Human Resources and to favour the sharing of good practice. This unique CrossKnowledge initiative enables its members to use the Internet to communicate with other HR experts. The main objective of the “network” is to boost communication, stimulate participation and encourage members of the HR community to express themselves by listening to, gathering, and analysing suggestions from other members of their own professional body.
The CrossKnowledge HR Network plays a key role in fostering communication and encouraging peer dialogue on the major challenges, or opportunities, that HR professionals face. It also enables direct communication of, and reaction to, action plans, strategies, and values. Consensuses are reached naturally through a system for exchanging opinions which encourages participants to share their opinions and develop ‘dialogue’ in a convivial and informal manner. The platform allows its participants to react to suggestions made by other users by incorporating user-voted ratings, making it possible for users to leave their own comments or feedback.
Users can also search for relevant discussions by “key-word” or participate in conversations on hot topics. A user’s profile page includes their personal details and a recap of their current activity.
