| Saba announced the appointment of Jim Lundy to the newly created position of Vice President and General Manager of Collaboration. Reporting to Saba's CEO and chairman Bobby Yazdani, Lundy will help extend Saba's people management leadership position through collaborative technologies and social networking solutions that align with business demands in today's rapidly changing workforce environments.
Most recently managing vice president and distinguished analyst for the Social Software and Collaboration team at Gartner, Lundy brings over 11 years experience in analyzing the collaborative technology market and is an established thought leader in the areas of social computing, collaboration and e-learning. Prior to joining Gartner, in 1998, Lundy spent 15 years at Xerox Corporation in a variety of sales and marketing roles.
"Jim is a one-of-a-kind talent in collaboration and strategy and will be an invaluable addition to our management team," said Yazdani. "He has always recognized our vision and the vision of our customers and is the ideal person to be leading our efforts in the collaboration arena."
