Cobent announced the opening of its new office in the US to support growing North American operations.
Despite a tough global trading environment in 2009, Cobent has continued to launch new products, expand partnerships and acquire new clients, facilitating the need for its physical presence in the US.
Cobent has selected Austin, Texas, one of the world's key technology hubs, as its US based headquarters.
"Cobent is committed to customer success in North America, demonstrated by our local investment in sales and marketing operations," said Howard Sears, CEO of Cobent. "50% of our current client portfolio is US based, so this is a sensible move for the company. There is a growing demand for learning management solutions that can address complex compliance training requirements. We are well positioned to supply organisations with the tools they need to be successful in this regard," added Sears.
