Edvantage group has signed a three year Managed Learning Service contract with Jotun, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of paints, coatings and powder coatings. In addition to this Edvantage group was awarded a contract to build an e-learning course within the area of Finance.
Jotun has been a client of Edvantage group for the past three years. The new Managed Learning Service contract includes Learning Gateway, Edvantage group’s SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) based Learning Management System, CourseBuilder, Edvantage group’s SaaS based authoring tool, a course catalogue from SkillSoft and a bespoke e-learning course.
“We are very pleased to continue our relationship with Jotun”, says Thomas Berglund CEO of Edvantage group. “Jotun is one of our most important clients with a unique approach and drive to competence development. The partnership that we have forged over the past three years working on different aspects of e-learning technology, services and content has been very rewarding.”
In 2009 Edvantage group worked with Jotun to develop an e-learning induction programme for new employees. “It became an instant success, with more than 1,000 employees completing the course and excellent internal feedback,” says Hilde Bettum, Competence Management Director at Jotun. “With 7,200 employees and offices in more than 71 companies in 37 countries, we use elearning as an important tool to retain and develop our growing workforce in Jotun. “The results from our previous collaboration with Edvantage group made them the natural choice to continue our e-learning provision.”
