Moodlerooms has announced a partnership with DubMeNow, a mobile platform company. Together the two companies will enhance DUB’s Higher Ed mobile platform to integrate with joule™, Moodlerooms’ enterprise learning management platform.
The new application will keep students engaged with campus events, news, courses and up-to-date contact information from their smart phone, while universities are provided with a mechanism for delivering course related materials through joule. It will support multiple mobile platforms, including Apple iPhone, RIM Blackberry, Android, Symbian and Windows for Mobile.
“Moodlerooms’ partnership with DubMeNow puts us on the forefront of mobile education technology,” says Moodlerooms Vice President Joe McAvoy. “We are pushing forward to provide campuses with solutions that encourage communication, collaboration and education without traditional boundaries.”
DubMeNow will enhance its existing education modules to take full advantage of joule’s features by using its Powered by DUB Open Mobile Platform.
“Today’s students expect the ability to access and interact with information anytime, anywhere,” said Manoj Ramnani, DubMeNow CEO & Founder. “We’re excited to work with Moodlerooms to bring learning management components on our open mobile platform for higher education.”
