Cobent announced a partnership with ELC, headquartered in Shanghai, to supply Cobent learning technology in China.
Established in 2006 and now one of China's leading e-Learning and training consultancy companies, ELC has built a strong customer portfolio including international blue-chip organisations like Avon and Nissan alongside local corporations such as China Guangdong Nuclear Power Group, China PingAn Insurance, Shanghai Pudong Development Bank, Jinjiang Inns and China Travel Service.
The partnership with ELC combines Cobent's learning, compliance and training management systems solutions with ELC's local knowledge and consultancy experience within the Chinese e-Learning and training market.
"Cobent has enjoyed strong growth in Europe and the US and with the recent appointment of Wai-Bin Lai, VP of Sales for the Asia-Pacific region, the new partnership with ELC further enhances our strategic plans to provide solutions to the region", stated Howard Sears, CEO of Cobent. "We look forward to the opportunities that this move will bring to both organisations", added Sears.
Deland Lin, ELC's Managing Director added, "ELC is delighted to work with Cobent. Through this partnership we expect to strengthen our leading position in the market. As well as our headquarters in Shanghai, we also have strong base in Guangzhou and Shenzhen; the Cobent technology will enhance our e-learning and training solution offering in a rapidly growing Chinese market".
