Led by speakers including Charles Jennings and Derek Daly, the former Formula One racing car driver, businessman and television sports personality, delegates at Plateau Systems’ first European user conference – held in Barcelona – discussed current talent management trends, technology and best practices in Europe.
During the two-day event, conference attendees had an opportunity to hear firsthand how some of Plateau’s largest international customers, including Astellas, Caja Madrid, Gruppo Mediolanum, Maersk (APMM), Rolls-Royce and Royal Ahold, are using Plateau’s talent management solutions to support the achievement of their broader organisational and business goals.
The conference - Insights Europe 2010 - also featured technical and business-related sessions from industry experts and Plateau executives on key current talent management issues, including collaboration and social networking tools, and the benefits of implementing a holistic talent management strategy that focuses on linking employee skills with organisational goals and priorities.
Despite travel disruption caused by the eruption of the Eyjafjallajökull volcano in Iceland, the conference delegates represented over 70 per cent of the international customer base for Plateau Systems, a leading provider of enterprise-class SaaS solutions for talent management.
