Xyleme announced the latest release of their Xyleme LCMS, extending their commitment to open formats and standards support.
With Xyleme LCMS, the entire content lifecycle, from authoring to storage to publishing, is based on 100% native XML. This enables effortless reuse across modalities and most importantly, breaks the long standing lock on training content held by vendors. With Xyleme LCMS, content can now be easily leveraged for functions and industry standards outside of learning. For example, Xyleme's support of the ePub standard has allowed customers to publish their single source of open XML-based training content to multiple ebook devices.
