From M4 Bristol direction:

Take M4 to J17 (Chippenham, Cirencester). Turn LEFT (north) towards  Malmesbury and Cirencester on A429.  Stay on A429 to Kemble.   In Kemble, turn RIGHT sign-posted Ewen.  After 50 yards, go straight  across staggered crossroads following signs to Ewen.  Follow for a mile  or so into Ewen and past the Wild Duck Inn (on right).

Purlieus Farmhouse is 200 yards past the pub on the LEFT  (just before Henry Cole  feed merchants). Cattle Grid on entrance from road.

From M4 London direction:

Take the M4 to J15 (Swindon) and turn RIGHT (north) on A419 towards Cirencester.  Follow A419 dual carriageway for approx 12 miles, through couple of roundabouts  and traffic lights.

Turn off LEFT sign-posted South Cerney, up to mini roundabout and LEFT again to  South Cerney. Should pass Cotswold Outdoor shop on your left.  After approx half a mile or less, turn RIGHT sign-posted South Cerney.  Follow this road through South Cerney and out staying on this road.  Go over 2 cross-roads with priority for roads crossing.  Keep going straight over sign-posted Ewen or Wild Duck Inn.

Follow road for a mile or so into Ewen to edge of village and Henry Cole feed  merchants on right hand side.   Purlieus Farmhouse is the first house on the RIGHT just past Henry Cole’s at the  edge of the village. Cattle Grid on entrance from road.

If you get as far as the Wild Duck Inn you have gone too far! Turn round, should be  200 yards or so on the LEFT.

From Cirencester:

Go round ring-road and follow-signs to Love Lane industrial estate.

Go past LIDL on left, turn LEFT at first mini roundabout.  Past Travis Perkins on left and RIGHT at next mini roundabout towards Ashton  Keynes.

Ignore first right turn to Ewen.

After a couple of miles, take the turning RIGHT to Ewen and Wild Duck Inn.  Follow road for a mile or so into Ewen to edge of village and Henry Cole feed  merchants on right hand side.   Purlieus Farmhouse is the first house on the RIGHT just past Henry Cole’s at the  edge of the village. Cattle Grid on entrance from road.

If you get as far as the Wild Duck Inn you have gone too far! Turn round, should be  200 yards or so on the LEFT.
